Room 7, P5,6,7 pupils visit Taigh Chearsabagh for an art workshop

Swimming Awards Congratulations to the following pupils who gained their National Swim Awards after a course of swimming lessons at Liniclate Pool. National Swim Award Plus- Amelia Lane, Laurence Donkers, Sarah Campbell, Ian Ferguson Pr7, Sarah Macdonald National Swim Award Cassandra MacLean, Jessica Thompson, Millicent Baines, John Allan MacLean, Hannah Hocine, Andrew Macsween, Nicolas Spears.

Saobhal Beag Nursery

It's party time at Paible School with a number of end of term activities taking place in the last week of term. Neil and Margaret MacPherson started the week with Country Dancing sessions for the pupils. Saobhal Beag Nursery joined us on Wednesday morning for their party with Santa staying on for the pr 1-7 party later in the afternoon.

Members of the community joined us for our annual Carol Service on Thursday morning, enjoying a cup of tea afterwards. £235 was collected for the local branch of the Macmillan Cancer Support. Many thanks to all.

On Thursday evening S1/2 who were joined by last year's S2 had their dance. John Alex Mackay Kindly providing the music.

Last day of term saw the whole school taking part in various activities with Popcorn Making being the most popular choice.

Christmas Concert Paible pupils took to the stage on Friday 14 Dec for their annual Christmas Concert. The school is indebted to the community for their overwhelming support as yet again a full house saw all pupils from pr 1 to Sec 2 perform a wide range of bilingual items. There was some elfish behaviour from some male and female members of staff.The magnificent sum of £1157 60. was raised and the school would like to thank all who gave donations and contributed items for the raffle.

Paible in Pink raise £335.02.

2Y pupils show off their Pink wear

Paible pupils were very much in the pink with Wear it Pink Day on Wed 31 October. All pupils were encouraged to wear something pink for their no uniform day with their £2 donation going towards the Breast Cancer Campaign. A total of £335.02 was collected. Room 2- Pr 5-7 GM, raised £44.50 of this total from their Pink Stall. Many thanks to all who contributed.

Wind Turbine finally installed at Paible School

Homework Club resumed Tuesday 30 October- now meets on Wednesdays.

Green Fingers Flower Show Competition Pupils from room 2 and 7,Pr 4-7 under the artful eye of Celia MacSween were involved in designing flowers in a vase using only recycling materials. Click on link above to find out more.

Ex-Paible Pupils visit BBC in Glasgow

Rory, Kayleigh, Nadine and Calum

Four ex-pupils from Paible School flew to Glasgow for the day on Wednesday 19th September to collect an award for their contribution to the BBC School News Report project which took place last March.

Paible School Strikes Gold School has just received news that they have been awarded a Gold Award for being a Health Promoting School.
