Everybody in Room 1 is coming to visit and we’re going to have a tea-party at the end of the school day.Drop in and see us anytime! We have also finished our ‘This is me’ writing project and the  picture shows us all holding our books.

Room 7 on Holiday On Tuesday R7 pupils enjoyed a no uniform recreation day to bring their holiday topic to a close. Art & craft activities started the day after Check In and other activities included a Gaelic Sing a long, football, skipping and  cinema time. Tapas, fruit kebabs and a tasty toast lunch were  keenly eaten by all. Primary 5-6-7 English have certainly experienced a one day holiday in Paible School.
Isobell MacInnes (School Nurse) has joined P5-6-7 English for workshops on Keeping Safe while on holiday. Thank you Isobell.

Na h-Èipheitich Tha clas 5-7 air a bhith trang ag ionnsachadh mu na h-Èipheitich. We have used a cross-curricular approach that links in with  A Curriculum For Excellence. The majority of our class work  has been based on the Egyptians, in Language, Health and  Environmental Studies. This has been very successful!
Some of the work completed to date includes post- cards from Egypt, instructions on how to build a pyramid and reports on the life of King Tutankhamun, who was an Egyptian Pharaoh.  Bha na Pharaohan a’ riaghladh air fad – coltach ris na tidsearan!
(sin a tha a chlas ag radh co-dhiù!)

Shinty Eight Paible pupils travelled to Drumnadrochit in September as part of the Under 14 squad for Uist Camanachd.  They took part in the Marine Harvest Development Trophy and, although
unsuccessful, had a really good trip.  Many valuable lessons were learned and the team is now working hard to improve their skills for the same competition next year.
UC is always on the lookout for new members - training sessions are on Friday from 4 – 5.15pm and are open to all pupils from p4 upwards.  It is an excellent game and a great way of keeping fit!
Paible team members:  David Macdonald and Oisin Buckley S2, Graham Black, Ewen Campbell and Colin Macleod S1, Fazel Froughi, Seumas Boyle, and Calum McRitchie, P6/7

Blythwood Shoebox Appeal As in previous years we will be supporting the Blythswood Shoebox Appeal. Your help is needed to make Christmas a happy time for children and families in Eastern Europe. Filled boxes, individual items, donations towards carriage costs & any empty shoe boxes will be appreciated. Pupils have been issued with information leaflet and labels. Please help Paible School support this worthy cause.
