Fr Deva came to our school on Tuesday 4th September to talk about his work in India.
There are children in India who are too poor to go to school.
Fr Deva got people to raise money to build a hostel and a charity has been set up called ‘Love and Share’. At the moment there are 110 children in the hostel. He started nine years ago with only five in his house!!
News has reached us that our school has achieved a ‘gold award’ in Health Promoting Schools.
This is fantastic for the school and encourages us all — pupils, staff and parents in our efforts to continue our healthy life-style.

This year S2 are planning to resurrect the Paible school magazine, last published in 1980. We have five pupils in our Editorial Team, Oisin (Sport), Sian (Art), Alice (Competitions), Tom (Advertising) and Rebekah (Articles). Each of these pupils have their own teams working for them.
Competitions will be running throughout the year for articles, art work etc from the rest of the school. Details to follow................
