School Management have set aside the following times for
Consultation.
Mr Macdonald HT Thursdays 3.00-3.30pm.
Mr MacLean DHT Tuesdays 1.45-2.15pm.
Mrs Matheson DHT Thursdays 11.00-11.30am.
Parents who wish to enrol their child(ren) for admission to Paible School for
August 2007 can do so by coming into school Week Beginning February 5th. Please remember to bring along your child(s) birth certificate.
We remind parents/pupils of the regulations re mobile phones in school - better to be left at home.
Should they be brought into school they must be switched off and left in a secure place.
Ipods should not be brought to school at any time.
Pupils will receive swimming lessons every Friday for approx 6 weeks.
Dates booked for 11-12am are as follows.
Feb. 9th & 23rd.
March 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd.
Please let Mrs Matheson know if a packed lunch will be brought from home or will be purchased from the canteen.
It has been arranged for some of the children to visit Paible School on a regular basis.

Friday 1.45 Library Visits to Rm 5 & Gaelic Medium
Congratulations to one of our former pupils Iain F Macdonald who has been selected for the Scotland North Team at the Inter-Counties Country Championships at Nottingham on 24th Feb.
Well done Iain.
Rehearsals are now well underway for our forthcoming school production of the musical SMIKE.
HELP! HELP! HELP!
The pupils are working very hard and maybe parents could help their children learning lines, song words etc.
Volunteers are also required to help with painting scenery, costume and prop making. If you have any spare time and would like to be involved please conact the school for more details.
To link with their project on space travel the primary department is to be visited by
Mr R MacKenzie, Physics Teacher, Sgoil Lionacleit who will demonstrate the launching of his model rockets.
Most P4,5,6,7 pupils received Active Schools Activity Certificates after keeping healthy eating & fitness logs. We were
delighted with all the
pupils & parents who
supported this initiative and congratulate them all – especially the well deserved gold awards
The Gaelic Medium children are appealing for help with their next project on Shoes which will also be linking with the Blue Peter Shoe Biz Appeal, currently being run by the school.

The Valentine Disco will be held on the 14 th February from 7pm till 10.30pm.
Parents are responsible for transport arrangements.
