Community Clean-up

Tuesday 1 May

Tuesday, May 8, 2007 9:43 PM

AS part of Enterprise in Education, Paible School took part in a clean-up of the local district between Committee Road End and Tigharry Post Office. All pupils, teachers and members of the community took part on a beautiful sunny morning. Alice Gilgallon had an interesting find on Paiblesgarry Beach when she picked up what appeared to be an old empty wine bottle only to discover that it had a message inside it. It read Gora E.T.A. with a telephone no

Other intersting finds during the clean up included a TV set and a number of traffic cones. Thanks to Sustainable Communities who donated bags and gloves as well as a donation of £300 to School Funds. The school would like to thank all parents and members of the community who helped in any way.
