Daffodil Tea

Sec 1 pupils who organised this year's Daffodil Tea

S1 pupils with the help of auxillary staff, Celia, Cirsty and Morag Ann organised this year's Daffodil Tea in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. some of the guests who attended our daffodil tea The guests were entertained by Mairi MacInnes piping and fiddle, Sean Brady pipes, Sarah Campbell piano, Mairi MacIntosh dancing, Ryan Simpson accordian, Angus MacInnes guitar and singing from primary pupils. The school are once again indebted to members of the community and parents for their support. S1's work was very much appreciated as is evident from an email received from visitors to the island who attended the tea. "We are on holiday for two weeks on North Uist and visited your school today for the MacMillan Daffodil Day, we would just like to say how much we enjoyed the afternoon and would like to compliment everyone particularly the pupils who took part in the activities. they were all very talented children and a credit to everyone. My husband would particularly like to mention the girl who played the pipes as he is TRYING to learn them himself and felt so embarrassed at her high standard of piping. Please thank your school secretary who made us feel very welcome. As a Head Teacher you must be very proud of your school."
The sum of £281.10 was collected. Moran taing!
