School Dress Code
The school dress code, again agreed by parents and teachers, is as follows:
- school sweatshirt (approx cost £7.55 and £9.25)
- white/blue blouse, shirt or polo shirt (approx cost £6.35 and £7.35 for
white and £6.75 + £7.75 for navy)
- navy/black skirt or trousers
- school tie (approx cost £1.80)
- school T-shirt (approx cost £3.95 + £4.50)
- shorts
School ties may be purchased at any time from the school office. Sweatshirts etc are ordered several times a year (May, September, January).
Certain forms of dress are unacceptable. We are talking about items which:
- potentially encourage faction (such as football colours)
- could cause health and safety difficulties (dangling earrings, poppers, shell suits and other items made from flammable material)
- carry advertising, particularly for alcohol or tobacco.
Parents who receive Income Support or Family Credit are eligible for a clothing grant. Application forms are available from the Education and Leisure Services Department,
