S1 recently completed an advertising unit which helped them to look more closely at the world of television advertising. After looking at how advertising campaigns are put together and learning about target audience, hot buttons etc. they then split into groups to prepare a campaign of their own.
For a new breakfast cereal, Starcrunch, they had to design a box, posters, TV ad, slogan and then give a video presentation of their campaign to impress our very own ‘Dragon’s Den’ team of judges.
Judging day was very tense and judges were impressed with the high quality of the entries. Each group was successful in some way but the overall winner was judged to be group 2 .
