File
The fact file is an individual project which is modelled near the beginning of the topic. Thereafter children work on it at times of their choosing ie when core work is up to date or if they need a break! Each child’s fact file is kept on a named wall display, so the teacher and the child’s peers can see at a glance how the work is progressing. Children are encouraged to read each other’s fact files, to make suggestions, or to copy good ideas. They coach each other in successful techniques. Children to be encouraged to do alternate Gaelic/English pages.
